Extra Goodies For A Camera That Isn't Here Yet

The flagship Olympus mirror-less camera to come is going to be the OM-D E-M1. We expect them later this month, and we will be trumpeting their arrival pretty relentlessly after they get here. That's what we do...

In the meantime, the Olympus people have announced that they will be providing a special offer for people who pre-order one. Actually it looks as though if you make a purchase of this new camera before October 31st, 2013, you become eligible for for redemption of ether a new HLD-7 battery Grip or a MMF-3 Four Thirds lens adapter.

The grips are perfect for easy handling of the cameras in the portrait orientation and the adapter means that photographers who have 4/3 lenses from the larger Olympus system can readily use them on the new camera.

People who have already pre-ordered are good for this as well, as long as they do the purchase by the end of the month.

The redemption is via an Olympus website: olympus.com.au/promotions.

Free stuff for a new camera. Doesn't get better than that.
