Come On Down - To The Bargain Table

Yowza, Yowza, Come on down!

We cleared the pamphlets and advertising handouts off one of our old tables some months back and started to pile all the end-of-line items and sad orphans that we have collected on it. We put ridiculously little prices on the stuff...and it sold like hot cakes.

People all of a sudden found that they needed that little Unity bag to put their memory cards in...the more ambitious tried to stuff their Nikon D700 cameras into cases built for point and shoots, and to give credit where it was due, some of them were successful. Of course the cameras are still in there as they have not been able to figure out how to get them out, but everything has a price.

We have been so pleased with the response that we have trundled one of the tripod stands over to the Bargain Zone and filled it with suitable one-off stock. If you fancy a cheap carbon fiber tripod, there are a few of them there. Also some little tiny tripods just perfect for compact cameras - of course someone will try to balance their Canon 5D MkIII with the 600mm lens on this and put it on the edge of a cliff in a gale. That is why we have a repair department.

I poked the pile on the bargain table today and leaped back to see what slithered out - there seems to be a nest of aftermarket leather cases for Panasonic and Leica D-lux cameras there as well as some Manfrotto pocket support thingies. These are the bars that screw onto the bottom of compact cameras with three little legs to sit on table tops. Ideal travel support for restaurant pictures.

Now don't let this stop you from cruising around the rest of the shelves and spending big money - we are happy to deal with larger amounts as well. But do go have a browse and see what you can pick up for pocket money.
