A New Era In Surveillance Begins - With Hudson

The Hudson Detective Agency has supplied pictures of their new detective camera - you'll see that it has been made for hand-holding by operatives in the field. Shaped like an innocuous leather-covered box that might be carried by any gentleman in an omnibus or railway carriage, it blends in perfectly with society.

The operative need only wait until his subject is clearly lit to turn the front end of the detective camera - with a 52mm opening in it - and press the small stud set into the right side of the box. There is an imperceptible click and an image is recorded.

This may be transferred later to an electric storage and display device once the operative has returned to the office, and will serve as incontrovertible proof of the guilt of the accused. The usefulness of this camera in divorce proceedings and the capture of international naval spies will be readily seen.

It is hoped in the future that even more discrete cameras will be acquired. Plans are afoot to produce one in the shape of a stack of engineering textbooks - for surveillance at technical schools and university campuses - and it is hoped that a larger iron-braced model can be fitted with artillery wheels for use in rough terrain.

Innovative thinking. The camera looks impressive and with the leather covering is hard to detect.
Watch out people as the Hudson Detective camera is out. So now there is no hiding.
