And apparently they are going to be selling high-end photographic goods. People will be able to enter the building, talk to someone named Domenic or one of the other staff members there and say the secret phrase " Here is my money, please sell me a camera. " and walk out with the goods. They don't even need to be over 18...
It is a dangerous neighbourhood...surrounded as it is by high-end shops and close to a large city hotel. There are 5 pubs or taverns within eyesight of the door plus many more restaurants and cafes and the area is a hotbed of having a good time. People may very well enjoy themselves visiting it and then where will we all be, eh?
And no, 230 Stirling Street is not closing down. It will be exactly what it is right now, where it is right now. Rental department and Repair department stay put, as does the stock warehouse, the sales floor, and all that entails. Murray St. is going to be its own premises, and there are going to be some surprise additions for city shoppers.
More on that later...
