Start The New Year Right

First of all - Happy New Year to all the readers and customers. As you are aware, yesterday was April 1st - the first day of 65UD. I hope that you all achieve your goals this year, whatever they may be.


Today is a first as well. The Leica company have decided to be happy. The way they want to do this is to be their own company here in Australia ( Relax, they'll still be growing the cameras in Germany...) and represent themselves. Their office is probably chaotic right now, but it will settle down and the supply system for Leica products will probably be a great deal smoother.

Indeed, you may well see some rather elegant presentation of new products here at our shop later in the year. We, as staff, are excited with the prospect.

We are also excited with the prospect of the new 240-series Leica M. Whenever it gets to Australia, we'll get to play with it, and you'll get to purchase it. You might get yourself ready for the big day by coming in and buying a selection of Leica lenses to go onto the new body. Don't go mad - be sensible - buy one new Leica lens a week for the next couple of months and you will be all set for the 240 M.
